CTT provides on-going structural engineering services to
Talecris Biotherapeutics' facility in Clayton, NC. The most recent project
consisted of a structural analysis and code evaluation of the roof structure
for Building 300. The project included conducting 6 weeks of extensive field
work to document the current loading condition for each structural member
comprising the roof. After the field work was completed, loads were
developed from the field review and an analysis was conducted.
A roof plan was drawn, then color-coded to represent
different load values for sections of the roof. An extensive report was
produced documenting field work, analyses, summaries and recommendations.
