CTT provided civil and structural engineering services to
Campbell Soup Supply Company under a design–build contract for the
construction of the 19,000 SF plastic line building addition (shown above
just after installation of the concrete panels). The new facility will house
new cooking equipment, conveying equipment, pipe racks, a new HVAC
penthouse, control room, and electrical and mechanical rooms. The new
equipment will be supported by a high capacity slab utilizing a two-way
concrete slab cast on driven timber piles.
The project also consisted of the design of a new 4,100 SF
de-palletizer building for offloading pallets and plastic line containers.
Included under separate contracts with Campbell Soup, CTT provided
structural engineering services for in-plant pipe bridges for utility
routing, equipment relocation and support, mezzanine repair, boiler house
modifications, new equipment installation, de-palletizer and palletizer
platforms, and multiple analyses and consultations in support of the new
plastic line. |
