Delaney Radiologists Medical Office Building, Wilmington, NC

 


 

Criser Troutman Tanner provided structural engineering design phase services for the design of a 43,300 SF, two-story medical office building utilizing a 5-1/2” composite concrete floor slab system on composite steel beams and supported predominately by steel tube columns. The lateral bracing system, designed for 135 mph wind and associated seismic forces, consisted of ordinary steel moment resisting frames. Exterior wall framing consisted of light-gage metal stud curtain wall framing. Foundation system and guide rail support system was provided for an elevator. The foundation system consisted of shallow isolated spread footings.

 

RAM Steel & Advanse software was utilized in the structural design of the building.

 

Limited construction phase services were provided.
