provided
complete
structural and marine engineering for the design of approximately 4,720 LF
of vinyl bulkhead with an aluminum cap and a treated timber drop waler
with a mechanical anchor system and sloping backfill along the AIWW. The
project also included design of transition walls at adjacent property as
well as design of a boat ramp consisting of a concrete ramp above the HWL
and the lower portion below the MLW consisting of an articulated concrete
ramp. Services also included preparing and applying for US Army Corps of
Engineers/SCDHEC/OCRM permits for staging and community docks, boat ramp
and dredging for such as well as joint-use docks. Construction phase
services were provided with periodic construction observation.
