CTT provided civil site design and permitting for a 14,800 square foot
Walgreens Pharmacy store. The project consisted of designing the site
layout, grading, erosion control, stormwater infiltration, and water and
sewer utilities. Permitting efforts for both phases consisted of Town
Zoning, County Sewer, State Erosion Control, State Stormwater, State DOT,
Town Fire Department, and The Water Corporation.
The existing site was a parking lot for the shopping center
to the rear. A stormwater infiltration trench was designed and installed
under the Walgreens parking lot, maximizing buildable area for the project.
The minimum volume of the infiltration system was doubled to provide the
maximum treatment possible. Also, this redevelopment project resulted in a
net reduction in impervious area from that which previously existed on the
property. With these engineered solutions installed, sensitive downstream
surface waters are now protected. |
