CTT provided civil site design and permitting for this twenty acre mixed use center in the southern portion of New Hanover County.  The layout included a doctor’s office, Harris Teeter grocery store, Zachsby's restaurant, Firehouse Subs, great Clips, offices, and other retail stores and restaurants.  The development consists of 130,000 SF of  commercial buildings.

Our design services consisted of site layout, grading, erosion control, stormwater management, water & sewer utilities, and State roadway modifications.  Permitting efforts consisted of County Zoning, County Sewer, County Stormwater, County Erosion Control, Aqua NC Water Service, State Erosion Control, State Stormwater, and State Driveway Permits.  State and local stormwater regulations were satisfied by utilizing infiltration basins for treatment and attenuation of runoff.  Existing wetlands on-site were protected from disturbance activities.  Roadway improvements included in the design were lengthening the left turn lane on Highway 421 and widening Sanders Road with additional left and right turn lanes.  A directional crossover was also designed and installed on highway 421 to eliminate left turns into and out of the development, thus improving motorist safety.
